The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) has issued the 2008 Report to the Nation on Occupational Fraud and Abuse.
The term "occupational fraud" is defined as "The use of one's occupation for personal enrichment through the deliberate misuse or misapplication of the employing organization's resource or assets."

RM Wolff, LLC, which provides business valuation solutions, litigation support, forensic and investigative accounting services for business throughout the nation, is changing daily leadership.
Rick Swafford is the new Member in Charge of Professional Services of RM Wolff. Laroy Wolff, who in late 2006 united his company with the three-state accounting firm of Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC to create RM Wolff, will become technical advisor and consultant to the firm, which has an office in Brentwood.
