Eric Bergesen is a Senior Manager at RM Wolff, LLC, a valuation and forensic services firm affiliated with Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC.
With more than nine years of experience, Eric has a strong background in merchant banking, mergers & acquisitions, valuation services and capital raising. His experience includes management buyouts, negotiations, and public company fairness opinions.
Eric has performed a significant number of valuation engagements and litigation/forensic assignments. The nature of the valuation engagements has included litigation, estate and gift tax planning and reporting, accounting pronouncement implementation, and other transaction/management motivated engagements. The nature of the litigation engagements has included damage calculations, divorce (business and domestic), and other types of cases.
In the past, Eric has worked on public equity, mergers and acquisition, and private placement transactions in education, healthcare, and transportation industries. He has developed an extensive network of private equity contacts in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Eric's valuation and forensic work has involved many different types of entities in many different industries.
Eric was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was raised in the Philadelphia area. He has a B.A. in English and Economics from Cornell University, an M.A. in English from Louisiana State University, and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He was awarded an AVA (Accredited Valuation Analyst) designation by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) in 2004.
Eric is currently on the board of the March of Dimes of Middle Tennessee as well as First Steps. He has served and been an advisor to boards of directors for a number of businesses.
