Eric Bergesen

Eric Bergesen is a Senior Manager at RM Wolff, LLC, a valuation and forensic services firm affiliated with Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC.
With more than eight years of experience, Eric has a strong background in merchant banking, mergers & acquisitions, valuation services and capital raising. His experience includes management buyouts, negotiations, public company fairness opinions, and financial damage calculation expertise.
For example, recently Eric was part of the team that served as financial damage expert for Dr. Gary Michelson in his lawsuit against Medtronic. Dr. Michelson received a settlement of $1.4 billion. Part of this work included valuing the intellectual property portfolio of Dr. Michelson.
In the past, Eric has worked on public equity, mergers and acquisition, and private placement transactions in education, healthcare, and transportation industries. He has developed an extensive network of private equity contacts in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Eric was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was raised in the Philadelphia area. He has a B.A. in English and Economics from Cornell University, an M.A. in English from Louisiana State University, and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He was awarded an AVA (Accredited Valuation Analyst) designation by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) in 2004.
Eric is currently on the board of the March of Dimes of Middle Tennessee as well as First Steps. He has served and been an advisor to boards of directors for a number of businesses.
